CC Particle Effect

www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yGK6gFYH2k
This is the video tutorial I watched for the plugin on Adobe After Effects called CC Particle World.
I used this effect in my Rizzle Kicks Intro. I used orange particles that where slowly rising upwards. This gave the video an interesting effect. This was achieved by creating a 10 second video, I then added the CC Particle World effect, this created particles. I then changed these particles from line to sphere. I then changed the height, width and radius of the particles so that they where more spaced apart. I then changed the colour of the particles. I made there birth colour orange and there death colour red. This created an interesting effect in colour change. I felt using these colours suited the videos overall colour scheme. I then set the gravity to -1 so that the particles would slowly rise. I then rendered the 10 second clip out on a white background.
I then added this rendered video to the timeline in Adobe After Effects alongside my video of the Rizzle Kicks Intro at the same time in the timeline. I then right clicked on the Particle video and went to Blending Options, I then clicked Multiply. This transfered the orange particles onto the Rizzle Kicks Intro without the white background to create the effect.
